Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our sun-safe apparel and ordering process.

What does UPF 50+ mean for your clothing?

UPF 50+ is the highest possible sun protection rating for fabrics. It means the garment blocks out at least 98% of harmful UVA and UVB radiation, providing excellent protection for your skin.

How should I care for my sun-protective swimwear?

To maintain the UPF rating, we recommend rinsing your swimwear in cold water after every use to remove chlorine or salt. Hand wash with mild detergent and dry in the shade; avoid tumble drying or ironing.

What are your shipping rates and delivery times?

We offer flat-rate standard shipping across Australia, typically arriving within 3-7 business days. Express shipping options are available at checkout for faster delivery.

Can I return an item if it doesn't fit?

Yes, we accept returns within 30 days of purchase, provided the items are unworn, have original tags attached, and are in their original packaging. Please note that for hygiene reasons, certain items like sunscreen or headwear may have restrictions.

Where do the proceeds from my purchase go?

Every purchase made at the Cancer Council Shop helps fund vital cancer research, prevention programs, and support services for those affected by cancer.

Do you offer international shipping?

Currently, we only ship to addresses within Australia. We are looking into international options for the future to share our sun-safe mission globally.
